The 2026 IFSC Climbing World Cup came to a spectacular close this Sunday in Chamonix with the Lead finals, held in front of a packed Place du Mont-Blanc.

In the women’s competition, Annie Sanders (USA) confirmed her status as the circuit leader by claiming victory. In the men’s event, Alberto Ginés López (ESP), Olympic champion in Tokyo, secured an emotional win after a thrilling final.

The French team also delivered strong performances throughout the weekend, cheered on by an outstanding crowd that once again made Chamonix one of the most iconic stops on the IFSC World Cup circuit.
